The spectral editing features kick the shit out of anything else, and while this might sound like a cliché, your imagination and creativity is really the only limit. I strongly suspect we'll see these features evolve over time, and the Sound Remover, while more of an experimental feature, is already quite impressive.Īs a multitrack editor it's passable I'm extremely spoiled for choice since I'm a hardcore Sony Vegas user, and it can't really hold a candle to more entrenched software like Pro Tools, Cubase or the rest of the oldtimers.Ībove all else, though, it's an amazing sound designer's toolbox. Not only the obvious noise reduction features, but scraping off any kind of unwanted noise. Second, it's a great audio restoration tool. Meaning, you can use it for normalizing, trimming, EQ:ing, any of that boring stuff that generally goes on in any audio environment. First of all, it's an excellent bread-and-butter destructive stereo editor.
